Dr. Julian Schofield is Executive Director at the Canadian Centre for Strategic Studies and Associate Professor of at department of political science at Concordia University, Montreal. He formerly served as a Captain with the Royal Canadian Military Engineers. Dr. Schofield's research focuses on security and strategic studies in South and Southeast Asia.
Carla Rizk is Managing Director and President of the Canadian Centre for Strategic Studies. Jason Poirier Lavoie is a director and senior analyst at the Canadian Centre for Strategic Studies. A former Master Corporal with the Royal Canadian Military Engineers, Jason presently works for Aviation Strategies International, a strategy consulting firm that provides advisory services to the aerospace industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) with distinction in Political Science from Concordia University and a diploma of aircraft maintenance from the École Nationale d'Aerotechnique. Jason is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws at the Université de Montréal.
Patrick Groeneveld-Meijer is a research analyst at the Canadian Centre for Strategic Studies and a member on its Board of Directors. He holds office as the elected Vice-president of external affairs at the Concordia Political Science Students Association, where he works to bring influential speakers to the student body. Currently completing an honours degree in political science at Concordia University, his research centres on the international relations and security dynamics of the Middle East and South Eastern Europe.
